If you run, you are a runner. It doesn’t matter how fast or how far. It doesn’t matter if today is your first day or if you’ve been running for twenty years. There is no test to pass, no license to earn, no membership card to get. You just run. ~John Bingham
Oh yeah, I am just back from holidays in Europe (photos to come) and my bathroom scales show me every single sin I commited during the past 3 weeks: Raclette, Tartiflette, Tarte au fromage de chèvre, Wiener Schnitzel, Soljanka, three BBQs and by far too many cakes and cookies.
How often did I do sports in Europe? Three times – we could probably agree I deserved all of my BBQ meals! Anyway, I already set myself a new objective: I decided to run the Quarter Marathon in Auckland in November this year. I hope to manage the distance of 10.55km in one hour. Any of my kiwi readers willing to join or planning to take photos?
You are back already? Hope you did have a great time with your family – next to the cookies and pies;) Good luck with your goal to run the marathan!

Yep, three weeks were gone like that and I’m already back in Auckland restarting work tomorrow. Seeing my family and friends has been great (first time since two years), and I understand why they felt the need to feed us with good food ;-)
